Academic Career

After my thesis on high-speed rail policy, I joined a European think-tank in Rotterdam dealing with transport policy, followed by the Dutch Ministry of Transport, where I conducted comparative studies (transport and land-use planning) and disseminated research findings of European Framework Programme projects. In Vienna, I joined a research institute doing interdisciplinary social science research and assisted the coordinator of a EU-wide project on regional innovation.

Personal Message

High-quality results are my top priority. If you are looking for accuracy, conciseness, and clarity, you can count on me.
My mission is to ensure that your standards are met or exceeded and ensure your satisfaction at every step.
Thanks to twenty years of experience of working with authors whose first language is not English, I can usually figure out what the author meant to say without having to ask, which increases speed and efficiency.
I pride myself on always meeting agreed deadlines.

Pricing Info

I use three fee levels, depending on how much editing will be needed: from superficial editing to in-depth revising.
I charge per character, which is the fairest system, especially for academic texts that contain tables and figures.
I always provide a cost estimate and a time frame; these have to be agreed before I can start working.

Availability

Available now.
Advance notice is always preferable. If the text is very short (less than ten pages), I can probably squeeze it in. But for longer texts, one or two weeks' notice are advisable.
Books need to be planned well in advance.
