I spent several years as an editor and media developer at the prestigious Open University, UK, where I worked closely with academics on print and online learning material for high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the arts/humanities, social sciences, education, business and linguistics.

I work in British or American English to the academic style required by the journal (e.g. Harvard, MLA, APA, Chicago, etc). I can edit your reference lists to the required journal style. (Even with a reference generator errors can occur, and journals may use adapted styles which differ slightly from the standard.) I can review your non-native writing and offer suggestions to make it ‘sound’ more natural.

I work part-time. I can usually turn around journal articles relatively quickly (e.g. 2–3 days). Longer material may require up to two weeks.
