Academic Career

I earned my B.M. in Education from the University of Lowell in 1987 with a focus in instrumental education.  In 2006, realizing that my potential to do more in the arts was expanding, I enrolled in the Arts Administration program at Boston University’s Metropolitan College. I received my degree in 2008. After starting Pilates in 2009, I decided to become a certified instructor in 2012. My area of interest has always been music, radio and Jazz. Proofreading/Editing Experience and Qualifications

My proofreading and editing qualifications have come from add-on duties to my primary jobs: elementary/middle school curriculum writer and editor, online newsletter editor, in-house ghost writer and editor. My other proofreading and editing skills have developed through internships and on-the-job training, mostly in general music, Jazz radio and print journalism.

My services include:

Personal Message

My knack for clear, lean and witty writing and keen eye for errors is from having a varied background in careers and working in different capacities in jobs. In every job I've had, I've written, proofed and/or edited. Getting it right is not why I do this; it's also the challenge of helping someone express their thoughts and ideas.
